The trip

• 2026-08-30: Destination is Nice, France (per Jay's handwritten agenda notes, photographed and resent by Boyd as IMG_2113.jpeg). No month or year is written anywhere on the page, only day-of-month numbers, so the calendar can't be filed yet. Percy's best-effort read of the framework (day-of-month numbers as written):
• 24-25: fly in
• 25-26: a recovery day in Nice — stroll the seafront, dinner, rest after the flight (one word before "Nice" is hard to read, possibly "Sleep in")
• 26 through 3 (Thursday to Thursday): rental car booked/planned for this span
• a new place to stay in Nice starts around here
• Fri the 4th: day trip to Ventimiglia, Italy (just over the border — likely for its famous Friday market)
• 5-6 (Sat/Sun): Nice's holiday markets
• 7th, and either the 8th, 9th, or 10th (unclear which): checkout, plus visits to language schools and "other misc." Margin note: "Jay's goal: fingerless gloves!!"
• Also wanted: a place (or places) to stay away from Nice for a stretch, candidate towns Draguignan, Vence, and Tourrettes (probably Tourrettes-sur-Loup), plus a drive up into the Alps Nothing here is a confirmed booking, so data/itinerary.json has not been touched.

Open questions

• 2026-08-30: Original ask ("decipher Jay's proposed agenda framework") arrived with no attachment; Boyd has since resent it as a photo (IMG_2113.jpeg). Still need from Boyd/Jay:
• What month (and year) this framework applies to — only day-of-month numbers are written.
• Confirm the word before "Nice" on the 25-26 line (read as "Sleep in", but the handwriting is unclear).
• Confirm the rental car window is the 26th through the 3rd of the following month, Thursday to Thursday.
• Confirm the checkout/departure day — is it the 8th, 9th, or 10th?
• Confirm the day-trip destination as Ventimiglia, Italy, and the away-from-Nice candidates as Draguignan, Vence, and Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Once dates are confirmed, Percy can start filing actual lodging/transport entries.
